A tower crane has been fully erected at the Central Hotel where Barrett Mahony Consulting Engineers are providing Civil and Structural Engineering services. The proposed development will consist of the refurbishment and expansion of the existing five storey over basement building originally constructed in 1887.
The works will include:
• the removal of existing fourth floor level mansard roof structure and replacement with new lightweight structure
• construction of new 6 storey over basement infill building on Dame Court
• extensive strengthening works to the existing structure
• reconfiguration of the existing structure to accommodate the proposed reconfiguration and amalgamation of internal areas
Barrett Mahony Consulting Engineers are proud to be involved with this project which will bring new life into a historic part of Dublin City.
